World Healing Day

Saturday, April 27 @ 10 a.m.

Holy Cross Episcopal Church

The T’ai Chi Chih classes of Fountain Inn, Greenville, and Mauldin will share our practice with the world. What began as T’ai Chi Qugong Day, has transformed into World Healing Day. Practitioners of T’ai Chi, Qigong, Yoga, Meditation and other such practices gather in groups or individually in a spirit of unity to create a vibration of peace and compassion around the world, to surround the world with a flowing web of positive energy. We encourage everyone who practices or would like to practice T’ai Chi Chih to set aside 10 a.m. on April 27 to either practice with us or singularly. Everyone is welcome!

Lent Dinner Schedule

Wednesdays in Lent
March 6, 13, 20, 27, April 3, 10

Ralph Cain, LPC and Patricia Thackston-Ganner, members of Holy Cross, will be leading our Wednesday night Lenten Program entitled, “Growing through Grief and Sadness.”
The group will look at tools and paths to help us do more than simply survive the deep feelings all of us endure with any kind of loss. More importantly, we will seek ways to allow those feelings to be windows to look deeper into our souls. We will learn to listen and grow closer to the heart of God as we hold close the good and joy that lived in the lost object of our affection. This will add to our capacity to love and live freely again.
Please sign up in the Narthex if you are interested in attending this series.

Dinner is served at 6 p.m. and the program begins at 6:30.
We will conclude with Eucharist at 7:45 and should depart by 8 p.m.

March 6 – Pancake Supper:  prepared by the Youth  (donations are greatly appreciated towards the Pancake Supper)
March 13 – Potluck Dinner:  prepared by HC family
