WELCOME
We
are grateful to have you visiting this
Christian Community.
Holy Cross seeks to be an intentional community of healing, service and
spiritual growth. Our participatory worship service is
intended
to involve the whole person in praise and thanksgiving as we seek to
grow in Christ.
WHO WE ARE
We
are a liturgical church. Liturgy
means literally, "the work of the people". Thus, our worship
is a
participatory experience. Our book of worship is the red book
entitled "The Book of Common Prayer", and our music books are the blue
"Hymnal 1982" and the spiral bound "Holy Cross Parish Family Song
Book".
Amplification System
Holy Cross services are microphone enhanced for sound clarity
throughout the sanctuary. The speakers are currently located at the
ceiling at the front of the Altar. For those that may need hearing
assistance during the service, please speak with one of the ushers when
you walk in the Sanctuary. We have devices available for hearing
impaired.
Child
Care
A nursery is available at all services for children under 3 years of
age. Parents are welcome to bring their children to the altar rail for
communion or a blessing during communion time, or, if desired, children
are welcome to stay in the nursery until the conclusion of the service.
